Astoria Oregon is one of the largest fishing town in the Westcoast and it is a major albacore tuna landing port with certified MSC, therefore it aligned with our company sustainable policy. New Vessel: Perseverance 282 & 768

We took another delievery of a new Super Seiner, it has a capacity of 1250mt and cruise at a speed of 16 knots and max speed at 18 knots. The new vessel has the most advance enginee, it is the most efficent compare to its smiliar class it would save at a min 1500mt of Fuel, in additon it has the most advance sonar, radar, sounder and fishing gears to allow it to reach its maxium potential and economical fishing. Last but not least, it has additona freezing capacity to meet EU standards and sashimi grade super freezers. God Bless peverance 282 and 768 for a sucessful fishing trips & a safe journey on the ground.

Kosrae PRocessing & Sorting & Cold Storage

Da Yang Seafood FSM has sucessfully started the tuna loining and sorting porject its cold storage allows the factory to operate while the container ship return every 2 weeks for shippment. This project is by far the largest job employment for FSM and the best value added facilty in the South Pacific. The state of art processing site will continue to expand for improved efficiency, training and capacity in order to compete with vietnam and thailand for the tuna industry.

Pacific Journey 8 found and picked up 3 Kiribati Citizens

FV Pacific Journey found 3 Kiribati Citizen drifting on the ocean for almost a week while on the way to FSM. We are glad all of them look healthy and conscious. Master Yeh was relief that the fishermen from Kiribati look relief and happy to that we are taking them home to Tarawa. It is important in time of Covid-19, we continue to care for each other and do the right thing.

Building of Pacific Pursuit 107 & 777 gets under way

​In early 2019, the Board of LS Group approved the construction of 2 new purse seiner to join their current fleet of 2 purse seiner. The vessel will be owned and operated by LS Joint Venture Company with FSM - “LS FSM Fishery Ltd and Pacific Journey Development Ltd”.
Construction of the vessel commenced in late Nov 2019 at the Jinglu Shipyard in China. It is hoped that the vessel will be completed in late August 2021, ready to commence fishing in the PNA by late 2021.
The vessel will be registered in the Federal State of Micronesia, FSM.
The vessel will be the first of a phased update of the FSM fleet over the coming years.
During the design and construction of this new vessel several aspects have been taken into account, which are oriented towards respect for the environment and the safety, comfort and resting time of the crew on board, as well as ensuring the quality of the final product. Technology allows full trace, we work closely with fish watch and marine traffic to allow more transparent information to our consumers where the vessel is fishing. We have gain full MSC for Da Yang Seafood and LS Pacific PNG but that is not enough, we have to tell more, we all know fishing is not easy but having a good resources starts from good conversations policy. Together with Marinetraffic and Global Fishing Watch technology allow us to see from the fishing ground and shipping process then finally to the sales market - Food Safety and sustainability is a mission of our group.

Astoria, USA - We are proud to announce that Da Yang Seafood Inc, which produce shrimp, crab and fish facility has been approved with BRC, once of the highest standards for Food Safety. Since 2005, this facility also has been approved with MSC chain of custody. This plant current export to more than 60 different ports and it will use its BRC to export to UK and some of the finest retailers in USA.

Kaohsiung, R.O.C - Our state of the art,superfrozen (-50C°C) tuna processing plant has been certify with BRC, the highest food safety program and chain of custody management. This facility is located in Kaohsiung, Taiwan in the beautiful harbor of Chien Chen District, next to its own dock it can offload tuna and still maintain -50°C thru its cold chain.
