FV Pacific Journey found 3 Kiribati Citizen drifting on the ocean for almost a week while on the way to FSM. We are glad all of them look healthy and conscious. Master Yeh was relief that the fishermen from Kiribati look relief and happy to that we are taking them home to Tarawa. It is important in time of Covid-19, we continue to care for each other and do the right thing.

In early 2019, the Board of LS Group approved the construction of 2 new purse seiner to join their current fleet of 2 purse seiner. The vessel will be owned and operated by LS Joint Venture Company with FSM - “LS FSM Fishery Ltd and Pacific Journey Development Ltd”.
Construction of the vessel commenced in late Nov 2019 at the Jinglu Shipyard in China. It is hoped that the vessel will be completed in late August 2021, ready to commence fishing in the PNA by late 2021. The vessel will be registered in the Federal State of Micronesia, FSM. The vessel will be the first of a phased update of the FSM fleet over the coming years. During the design and construction of this new vessel several aspects have been taken into account, which are oriented towards respect for the environment and the safety, comfort and resting time of the crew on board, as well as ensuring the quality of the final product.
